Apparently my fixed rate contract ended in June, July 2019 they doubled the price per therm from 39 cents to 70 cents, August went to 90 cents, Sept to December they charged $1.05 per therm, January was $1.00 and February was $95 cents. The coldest months for gas is September to February and that is not fair that when the contract ended, it should've gone back to Nicor.

Meanwhile due to President Trump getting gas within the USA rather than having to get externally, natural gas prices with Nicor were dropping. July 2019 was 35 cents, August was 33 cents, Sept was 31 cents, Oct was 29, November was 27, December was 27 cents, January was 26 cents, February 2020 was 26 cents

I called Customer Service and someone answered in Central America.

User's recommendation: Never utilize any Additional Supplier for Gas or Electric.

The end of terms notice would have included the expiration date of the contract, instructions on how to renew into another fixed-rate plan and the important disclosure that states if we do not hear from you by the expiration date, the account will automatically move to the month to month, variable rate pricing.
