In Jan we were informed that due to the amount we were behind on budget an additonal $100 would be added for 6 months. We did this and in 6 months I called and cancelled them as my electric was 3x what should have been with them!!
I was iformed at the time we did not owe anything else and our account was square.
I receive my next bill from NYSEG and my bill is great except Direct Energy put a charge of over $600 that they said I owed!! I am now filing a complaint as their internal investigation found no issues even though they conveniantly cannot find the conversation where I cancelled and they said we were square.
Reason of review: Return, Exchange or Cancellation Policy.
Monetary Loss: $600.
Preferred solution: i want this charge removed as I do not owe it!!!.
