We have been with Direct Energy for years now. For the most part we have been happy but noticed all the time that the monthly bills seem to be getting higher and higher.

Until we finally got a $600 bill in the mail in the middle of Summer???!!!! When we contacted them they said there was nothing they could do and were going to send the bill to collections if we did not pay. They did not and could not explain why the bill was that high. So we left and went to Enmax where our bill is now 1/4 of what it was.

Do not go with Direct Energy anyone.

They are crooks and its a scam to get you locked in. Go to Enmax and don't look back
