Last June,2017, a salesperson showed uo my sister-in-laws house, signed her up, and made promises. She is new to this country and thought she was saving money.
I told her to call and cancel next day. She did and got cancellation confirmation #. Guess what? They never canceled it.
After receiving a very high bill 2 months in a row, my brother-in- law called Nicor and found out Direct Energy still had their account.
We are going to pursue whatever means to get this rectified. I will contact the Attorney General in IL to help lodge a complaint.
